I originally painted this piece with someone special in mind, these were their favourite colours. This said person no longer belongs in my life but I wanted the feelings I had during the time we spent to live on.

I honestly didn't think I'd be hurting this much. The inspiration started off with hope and love then soon it all came to a desperate swim upstream to mending ones own heart. 

​

Finishing this piece meant I could honour the time we were together, but more importantly, I can move on to welcoming hope into my heart again.

This artwork is painted on wooden panel and finished with a thick glossy layer of UV resistant resin. It is shipped internationally and ready to hang.
