Through Sinking Skies, I wanted to talk about the idea of perseverance.

My mother used to tell me this one advice in Cantonese that when literally translated into English sounds something like " When the sky falls down, pretend it's a blanket." It basically meant that our problems can be fixed by changing our mindset towards them.

This advice among many others is something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.
