This painting is about heartbreaks, the barren lands you find yourself back in every time you're abandoned. The walls cave in and nothing ever seems to live there. Why am I back here again? Why do I keep coming back? Sometimes I wish this place didn't feel this familiar. It shouldn't feel this comfortable in a place where I struggle even to breathe.
